14!?
Kenzie turned 14 in December....
...she had a sleep over and took a couple of friends snowboarding. She did well for her first time out and she didn't fall once.... [on purpose]
Birthday Boys
The boy's birthdays are the middle of November.
Aiden turned 6 this year and Brigg turned two.... it's hard to believe they are getting so big ~
They play hard and have lots of fun together

...ok....so I have been REALLY bad about keeping our blog current......please bear with me as I play 'catch-up'...again...
Aiden was a vampire this year and Brigg was a skeleton. Kenzie was a punk for the party at church and a cave girl for a party at her friend's house. We didn't get any pics of Kenzie. She said, "We'll take some later'....which in our house usually equates to not doing it at all ~ Lauren decided she wasn't going to dress up this year.

Fall or Winter?
Today is a great day to catch up on blogging ...
... because even though it feels like fall ...
... this is what it's doing outside today ...

Aiden just finished up his soccer season.... it's crazy to me that they play so late in the year up here. We had games where it was all of 45 degrees ... and we're playing soccer. However, they play 'micro soccer' up here at Aiden's age level. He LOVED it. The field is smaller and there is only 6 on a team. Only three on three at a time. He had a GREAT season ... scored at least two goals a game. His little team was UNDEFEATED!

... I tried canning this summer ...
... I tried canning this summer ...[I 'put up' around 20 pints of pears, 6 pints salsa, over 20 pints stewed tomatoes and my sister and I canned over 60 pints of peach preserves ... wasn't as hard as I though it would be!]

First Day of School ~ August 2009
... 8th Grade ...

... Kindergarten ...
[the schedule here is a little bit of a change for us. the girls' day is from 7:30 to 2:45 and Aiden goes to school from 8:40 to 3:50. i can't tell you how nice it is to only live 10 minutes from the school. no more waiting in the car for two hours every day...yea!]
